A Prayer for Peace

PRAYER



God of love,

turn my heart to your ways;

and give me peace.


God of justice,

teach me how to discern

your just ways.


God of compassion,

open my heart to share solidarity

with those in suffering


God of Peace,

guide me to work for peace

and empower me to be peaceful.


God of Light,

shine on my way and

brighten my spirit to overcome

the darkness of life.


Amen.
